At Break Barriers Uganda (BBU), we are committed to improving lives and creating opportunities for vulnerable children, young people, women and underserved communities.

Improving Access to Healthcare

In partnership with Wishing You Well Africa, we reached 100 people in Buyende District with sickle cell awareness and essential healthcare services through community health outreach clinics.

Empowering Girls Through Skills Development

We supported two teenage girls to graduate in tailoring, equipping them with practical skills for self-reliance and improved livelihood opportunities.

Strengthening Child Protection and Safeguarding

Our team received child protection and safeguarding training, gaining essential knowledge and skills to prevent, identify and respond to child protection concerns. We are committed to putting this knowledge into practice to ensure children are safe and protected.
